Trigonometric Functions in Oracle

Trigonometric is the branch of mathematics that studies relationship involving lengths and angles of triangle. The name suggesting about tree angles and this name has taken from Greek language. The trigonon means triangle and metron is mesures. Here, we are learning about what is exact value of the particular angle and in mathematics, we have six trigonometric functions like SIN(), COS(), TAN(), COSEC(), SEC() AND COT(). Oracle supports only three trigonometric functions those are SIN(), COS() and TAN().

1.SIN(): This function returns the sine of a specified angle value in radians float value.

2.COS(): This function returns the cosine of a specified angle in radians float value.

3.TAN(): This function returns the tangent of a specified angle in radians float value.
